Let It Cast, the world’s foremost online casting tool, makes it’s U.S. debut during Digital Day at the Director’s Guild of America on July 31st, 2010.
“What’s really surprised us is that even though the tool was initially built for me, a director, it has evolved in such a way that it now has five different types of users who each value it equally for the benefits it brings them in their work. Producers who can now can now centralize all their casting assets, communications and reporting online. Directors now have an incredible tool to further their artistic vision. Casting Directors who can now work more efficiently and discover talent no matter where it may be hiding. Actors who can express themselves like never before. Even talent agents have come to rely on the tool as a way to submit proposals through video auditions rather than through simple headshots or demo reels.” --Laurent Touil-Tartour, Film Director (URBAN WOLF) and co-creator of Let It Cast.

ITVFest (Independent Television Festival) is an annual non-profit festival gathering fans, artists, and executives to celebrate independent small-screen productions. It was founded in 2006 by producer AJ Tesler, and is held in Los Angeles, California. The goal of the festival is to give independent fledgling television and web series makers the opportunity to share their work with the community and television professionals. The 5th annual festival will run from July 30-August 6, 2010. The festival has been in existence for five years and it is one of only two television festivals in the country (the other being the New York Television Festival), but ITVFest is the first festival dedicated to independently produced pilots and webseries, with an emphasis in new media. Festival support has come from companies and media outlets including Sony, Fox TV Studios, RDF, Comedy Central, SyFy, FX (TV channel), GSN, Genius Effect Media Group, HBO, Current TV, The Hollywood Reporter, Tubefilter, Stickam, B-Side and Comcast.
